Store front Neef Louis
Cousin Louis (in Dutch: Neef Louis) is an Amsterdam based address for props and industrial design. Before they moved to an industrial area nearby the docks, Cousin Louis was stationed in an old storage plant that was located nearby a supply route to the city. For the fact that this route is always jammed by traffick, I’ve experienced many moments wondering at their incoming transports. Cousin Louis’s personality is typical Amsterdam; that is a bit rugged with a dash of creative courage and lots of humour. Have a look at what I’ve found:

[...] Neef Louis, that is Cousin Louis in English, sent me his latest arrivals and here is my pick. The size of this fifties desk in walnut is probably a bit too big for today’s laptop or iPad. Even the archiving aspect does come with a size plus. I’m afraid you have to accept its size (L: 200 cm x D 90 cm x H75 cm) and place this desk in your home office. Together with an Eames Soft Pad Chair from Herman Miller you can create a work station that will develop disruptive thinking. Make sure this set will not become to musculine and add an elegant table lamp to it. Probably an Artimide Tolomeo in metallic red or the Leaf Light in red (By Herman Miller) will do. [...]
