Sorry for the delay in producing a new blog post. This post is the preface to the blog post that is about the location and its distance to the equator. Until my fifth, I’ve been living in the Caribbean and remember the colourful houses with painted shutters (that were always closed) the white chalked walls and tiled floors. All this to ward off the heat and to keep it cool inside the house.

To visualize the next post, I’ve taken the opportunity to lend the pic’s that have been made of India Hick’s work and life at the Bahamas. India is a daughter of the late David Hicks and inherited her design skills from her talented father. She and her family are living at Harbour Island where you can rent one her stylish decorated properties. Click here to admire her taste and style.
