This Spanish Designer is a favorite of ours; she knows how to play with textures, forms and fabrics. A good example of her skills in the transformation of forms is Antibodi for Moroso. This label is a collection of chairs and chaises longues in different sets of colors. De silhouette is subtle and the fabric the result of a sort of origami. This season Moroso presented ‘Fergana’ during this year’s Salone di Mobile. The novelty about this new set of sofa’s is the application of embroidery with inspirations from the Middle East. When you have a practical look at chairs with origami and embroidered sofa’s, than this might not suit busy living. We like to show you this designs for the reason that we think that the work of Patricia have an influence upon industry of interior design. You can see her designs as a confirmation of the growing demand for the application of authentic crafts in interior design. We end this post with Flo, her design label for Driade. This tribal inspired collection of chairs and stools was presented in 2000. At that time is was quite unique to apply tribal crafts for a Italian design label like Driade. Now a day’s tribal is a buzz.
