Prune is the French word for a plum and is a lovely colour to combine with camel, orange, fuchsia, mauve and moss-green. It’s not an easy task to match this colour well; the trick is to exploit the grayish tone of prune delicately. This grey tone is to be mixed well with the grayish tones in moss-green and camel. Use the fuchsia and orange on a small scale; otherwise your mix-and match project will end in a blur. Prune is a fashionable colour; the combination with other colours has been wonderfully done during the Emma Watson fotoshoot for Teen Vogue last June.
