The finishing of walls in a room can have an impact upon the light. This is a pic of a living before the start of a renovation project. The walls were covered with stone tiles that absorbed the light instead of diffusing it. I consulted my clients to plaster them white in order to let the light reflect on the elongated walls. Hasty decisions will take more time and money to mend than the extra time you’ll take to decide what colouring and optical tricks to apply.
